Austy takes 3rd

So as many of you may know this past weekend was the crossfit sectional qualifiers and my boy and crossfit guru Austy competed. I was supposed to be a judge at the event but was unable to make it due to a dr. appt. I have trained with Austy a lot and knew he would crush this competition and I actually guaranteed Crossfit Coz he would take top 5. The sectional event was in Montclair NJ and was a two day event. Saturday was 2 WODS and Sunday was the final WOD, top 30 advance to Mays regional event in Albany. Austin did well in the first event. The second event, which was expected to be a strong suite for Austin, ended up being the opposite. Austin learned a valuable lesson about staying relaxed through competition and placed out of the top 20 in event two. The final WOD on Sunday Austin killed and took 2nd place given him the 3rd place finish. I am proud of Austin and can't wait to help him train his ass off for Mays competition and then ultimately the crossfit games down in CALI!
